"Outside the Law" It was the summer after the big Winter Freeze The Ranchers has lost near all their stock It was mighty hard times for the work'n cowpoke Like they say, "Between A Hard Spot And A Rock"!   Fred and Russ had been ride'n the Grub Line There wasn't a ride'n job to be had It seem'd they'd run out of choices And that Outlaw Trail didn't look so bad!   They said, we'll just do it this One Time To get by till times aren't so Slack But once you cross that Divide'n Line Pardner, there ain't no go'n back!   Rob'n that bank had seem'd real easy And with their cover'd faces, no one saw But look'n back the Sheriff's Posse was gain'n On those two cowpokes, "Outside The Law"!   "MOREWOOD" (Dan Rice) 12\16\02
