Bronze Sculptures by Ron Adamson -- In the late 1980's, Ron began his technique in bronze sculpting in the remote mountain area of Libby, Montana. Pictured here, the sculpture "Honkers" won the "Best of Show", sculpture award from the "Celebration of Western Art" show in Puyallup Washington. "Honkers" was the first sculpture to be cast in his own Montana foundry he built in 1990.

Hal Empie (1909-2002), painter, illustrator, cartoonist, teacher, lecturer and pharmacist. He studied art with Frederic Taubes. His works have been exhitited in western art galleries and the Museum of Modern Art, and his murals can be seen in public buildings across the West. Mr. Empie contributed paintings and cartoons to Arizona Highways Magazine and Horse Lovers Magazine, authored western short stories and created Empie Kartoon Kards. Ann Empie Groves, known all her life as "The Artist's Daughter" has her own shop with Kartoon Kards, signs, and a wide variety of other items because her dad, "The Artist" suggested it and she is more than happy to respond to your questions about the shops or her father.

Steven George Fair,while working for Fish and Wildlife in the Kenia Mountains, discovered a shed moose antler which looked like a Northern Pike. With pocket knife and stone hammer the antler, which already looked like a fish, gained a fin, an eye, and gill plate. From such beginnings come the fantastic sculptures and carvings veiwable on his site

Rainier League of Arts was started in 1968 by Paul Chalk, Roseli Souza, Becky Stol and Fred Oldfield. In early years art shows were used as fundraisers and today the League is more active in more shows than ever.
