The Hideaway

"The Hideaway"

The Hideaway was the only Home they knew
These Misfits of the Red Rock Gang
They live'd the dangerous Rustlers Life
Git'n caught, most likely meant they'd hang!

The Red Rock Gang range'd from Bannack, Montana
To the majestic mountains of Jackson Hole
Rob'n Stages, Rustle'n Cattle and Horses
As they live'd out their Outlaw Role!

The Secluded Mountain Valley and the old Log House
Were many miles from where they'd Score
And no matter How Much They'd manage'd to Steal
It seem'd they were always Wanting More!

As Fred lean'd back against that old Fir Snag
And watch'd their Back Trail fer signs of Dust
He glance'd at the Hideaway and shook his Head
Five Waste'd Years, and Nary A Friend To Trust!
