Heritage Center Events 2008

Located inside the Red Gate on 9th Ave SW at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, the FOWHC is open during the week for classes, tours and other special events. The dates and times of each will be announced both here and in mailings to our members.

The Center can be opened at any time by appointment on a case by case basis--just give us a call. Also, during our Art Classes (please check the Classes page) there is usually a volunteer on hand who will be happy to show visitors around.

Join us at 7 PM on May 10, 2008 for an evening with Juni Fisher and the Rockin HW. Stay after the concert for a meet 'n greet with Juni, buy her CD's and maybe even get an autographed poster.

Also present for the evening will be Michael Whitaker, Alan Halvorson, and Monty Walter of the ever popular Rockin' HW

as well as Andy Bales, another singer of Cowboy Music and songs of the trail.

Ellensburg, WA National Western Art Show & Auction

May 16^th through the 18^th, 2008

Despite some rumors to the contrary, the Ellensburg Art Show will be held as usual and y'all should look for Fred to be there!

As usual, those who miss this show will be missing a really great opportunity to meet and greet some of this country's greatest, oldest and newest artists and seeing some of their latest works. We hope to see all of our friends at the show..

2008 Fiddler's Contest

August 8^th and 9^th, 2008

We will be hosting the 2008 Fiddler's Contest again this year.

Friday, 8 August, 2008 will be the day of the Old time Fiddle and Variety Show for Seniors which will commence at 2:00 PM.
