Located inside the Red Gate on 9th Ave SW at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, the FOWH&AC is open during the week for classes, tours and other special events. The dates and times of each will be announced both here and in mailings to our members.
The Center can be opened at any time by appointment on a case by case basis--just give us a call. Also, during our Art Classes (please check the Classes page) there is usually a volunteer on hand who will be happy to show visitors around.

Student Art Show
Saturday, May 30 ~ Noon to 4:00 PM
Our student Art Show is always a popular event and the students appreciate this chance to show off their work.
Please join Fred in Congratulating the Students on their year of creating! Come & meet the Students & See what they've created this school year! Also come & see Fred's latest paintings!
We'll look forward to seeing you at the Center! There will be plenty of Refreshments on hand!

Teachers' "Get Acquainted" Open House
June 2nd ~ 5-7 pm
The Fred Oldfield Western Heritage & Art Center invites you to a "Get Acquainted" evening. Please be our guest and enjoy a tour of the Center. You will enjoy numerous original Fred Oldfield Paintings spanning Mr. Oldfield's career from the 1930's through today. His work depicts the History of the Old West.
The Center also features Old West Artifacts, as well as our extensive American Indian Basket and Artwork collection.
We want to share what the Center has to offer to enhance your current curricula with Field Trips to the Center in 2009/2010.
Docents will be available to answer all your questions about the Center. We will host an Art Demonstration and a Question and Answer chat with 91 year young Fred Oldfield. Our Art Teachers will be available to explain our After School and Summer Camp Art Programs.
There will be Wine and Hors d'oeuvres ~ Gifts and Door Prizes
