Located inside the Red Gate on 9th Ave SW at the Puyallup Fairgrounds, the FOWH&AC is open during the week for classes, tours and other special events. The dates and times of each will be announced both here and in mailings to our members. Please call for Summer hours and Events.

The Center can be opened at any time by appointment on a case by case basis--just give us a call. Also, during our Art Classes (please check the Classes page) there is usually a volunteer on hand who will be happy to show visitors around.

WOODTURNING SHOW & SALE Registration

January to March 14th 2012

The the Fred Oldfield Western Heritage & Art Center will be hosting the 1st Annual Woodturning Show and Sale March 17th through April 1st 2012 for woodturners from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.

Please email: foldfield@comcast.net with the number of pieces you will submit by Feb.17, 2012. Please indicate if you will hand deliver or ship your artwork.

All artwork must be received at the Center by March 14th

Walton Workshop

Feb. 24-26th - 9:00am - 4:00pm - Fee is $180

The FOWHC is proud to once again host a Robert Walton Oil Painting Workshop. You will want to immediately register by phone or email as space is limited and this is a First come First served workshop!

All who register will be placed on the class list but late entries after the class has been filled will be on a waiting list which depends on someone else having to drop out which doesn't often happen. Don�t end up on the waiting list! Join Bob to learn about his powerful color palette and his beautiful landscapes!

You all know he�s an award winning artist and how proud we are to have him share his talent with us at the Center! Robert is a multi award winning artist with an outstanding career in the oil painting field! This landscape shown here is the painting you will work on in this workshop.
