Apache Pride

"Apache Pride"

For the "Chiricahua And White Mountain Apaches"
Every single day, "Survival Was A Task"
They live’d in an "Unforgiving Land"
Where, "One Mistake Could Be Their Last"!

The "Southwest" is "Beautiful In The Spring"
"Desert Flowers And Cactus In Bloom"
But come "Summer," it's "Hot And Dry"
For the "Weak, Man Or Beast, It becomes A Tomb"!

The "Apache" adapted to "This Land"
Accepting it, and "Becoming An Integral Part"
They learn'd "Survival Skills" from "Birth"
Like "Land Marks, Water Holes & Trails" in "Day Or Dark"!

They were the "Fiercest Desert Warriors"
Experts at, "Track'n, Hunt'n, Train'n Horses To Ride"
They used, "Patience, Camouflage & Silent Weapons For Battle"
These "Skills," were all part of "Apache Pride"!
