The Official Rules for the Fiddler's and Picker's Contest apply to all including Twin Fiddlers excepting where these specific rules will apply for the Twin Fiddlers category.

1. Contestants may play one tune or a medley, and have up to 3 accompanists.
2. There will be a 4-minute time limit.
3. Open judging will be used.  The judges will be seated in the audience.  They may be influenced by appearance, manner of dress, stage appeal, and entertainment value.  They will consider:
   • Rhythm and timing
   • Intonation
   • Unison of bowing
   • Difficulty and arrangement of piece
   • One fiddler must play the melody while the other plays the harmony
4. Both contestants are entitled to a contestant and a guest badge
5. Please ask any pertinent questions during judges meeting, as their decisions are final.
