2002 Puyallup Fair

The Puyallup Fair Board held a Silent Auction, during the fair, on a Fred Oldfield original painting, "The Hideaway", to benefit the Schlorship for the Arts. The Auction concluded at 4pm on Sunday June 22nd. The winning bidder on this painting was Dr. Michael Adams and his bid was $10,000.00.

The schlorship will be awarded to High School students from 4 area High Schools - Puyallup - Rogers - Emerald Ridge and Sumner.

This was a record sale for the fair and the Board were very pleased with the success of this event.
